Hoover MaxExtract All-Terrain Review
Best Carpet and Hard Floor Combo

Do You Have a Tough Floor Cleaning Job? I Might Have the Answer!

Because of the cleaning business I’m in, I know how expensive it can be for residential customers to call the professionals in, which is why most, if not all the contracts I have are for commercial customers. Depending on how heavy duty the job at hand is, it can cost you as much as $800 or more just for one visit.

That’s why you see this little creation before you today. I decided it would be a good idea to at least give people the chance to take a look at what’s on the market before they make the decision to hand a cleaning job over to someone else.

So, for this review I’m going to tell you all about the Hoover All-Terrain MaxExtract, also known by the model number: F7452900PC.

Although this steam cleaner is great for everyday cleaning jobs, I happen to think it works great for irregular but more heavy duty jobs as well. If you’re in a situation where you’ve just moved into a house, or have a rental where someone has just moved out and the floors are so dirty you wouldn’t let your dog walk on them, this unit will do the job.

Wash, Scrub, Clean and Rinse

Unlike many other steam cleaners, you can effectively use this floor cleaner for your carpets and hard floors. Sure, you can find more products out there that say they will clean both types of surfaces, but usually that means refreshing your carpet instead of cleaning it.

Not so with this Hoover F7452900PC All-Terrain Cleaner; it really steams and cleans all your floor surfaces.

There are two sets of SpinScrub brushes included (one for carpets and one for hard floors), and they’re both powered by Hoover’s DualV nozzle technology. This means the fibres in your carpets get a good all round deep clean, and your hard floors will be gently but effectively scrubbed. This technology also ensures you get an equal amount of suction across the full width of the nozzle.

You can make use of the auto rinse feature, which will make sure that no unwanted detergent residue is left behind, no matter what surface you’re dealing with. Add to this the heat feature and you’ll find drying time on all your floors is drastically cut down.

Other Features

You benefit from a powerful 12 amp motor, and the amount of power you need is easily set by using the handy buttons placed near the top of the handle. The included hand tools with this unit will deal with hard to reach places like corners, your stairs and it will even clean your upholstery.

The MaxExtract has a two tank system which means dirty water is kept completely separate from the clean water. This is something we see in more carpet cleaners, but the Hoover F7452900PC will even automatically mix the required amount of detergent and water suited to the setting you’re using. All you need to do is add hot water from your tap, pop some detergent in the compartment provided, and this floor cleaner will do the rest for you.

I think this steam cleaner is the perfect all-in-one answer for your cleaning jobs about the home. It offers an excellent way of making sure your hard floors are always looking their best, and I also love the fact that you can use the same unit to give your carpets a wash without having to spend money on a professional service.

In fact, if you take a look at Amazon the price speaks for itself. You can save the money you would spend on just one visit from an outside company and have this unit at your fingertips whenever you need it.
